Corsair A330

Fri Jun 07, 2002 11:52 pm

Hi !
I've some questions about the Corsair's A330s.
How many A330 did Corsair order ?
Is there any A330 still to be delivered ? When ?
What destinations are those aircrafts flying to ?
Do you know where I could find pics of the cabin of a CRL A330 ?

Thank you !  Laugh out loud

only 2 aircraft if I'm right

Is there any A330 still to be delivered ? When ?
no, maybe they'll get more within the order of 80 new aircraft its parent TUI Airline Management announced a few weeks ago

What destinations are those aircrafts flying to ?
I know they use them to Montreal Mirabel, I don't know about other routes

During the 'shoulder' season, Corsair flies the A330 from Paris to Malta on Saturday mornings.

Check it out at www.maltairport.com

Corsair has its own information web page at www.corsair.fr

There you will find aircraft information, cabin info, etc...

Thank you, but I've already been at corsair.fr
At the "fleet" webpage they say that they recieved a new aircraft almost each year since their creation. That's why I wonder what aircraft they may receive the next years.
And there's no pics of the A330 cabin.

Another question about the Corsair's A-330: why are they registered F-HXXX (HCAT & HBIL) instead of F-GXXX as the other planes registered in France ?

Corsair uses registrations for its fleet that usually have meanings.

For instance its B747-300's are registered F-G(SEA) / (SEX) / (SUN) in reference to atmosphere of destinations that Corsair can take you.
F-H(JAC) another B747-300 is registered in honor of Jacques Maillot the founder of Corsairs parent owner Nouvelle Frontiers, whom incidentaly also had a B747-200 F-GP(JM) named after him.

Its single B747SP is F-G(TOM) after the DOM-TOM French overseas departments.

Corsair next B747-300 will be registered F-G(SKY).

Not sure of the the reasons behind the A330 registrations, however having done work with Corsair, I am sure they have a meaning.

From the desert to the sea, to all of Southern California

I didn't know Corsair would get an other 747 300.
Do you have some more information about the next aircrafts to enter Corsair fleet ?
And where do those 747 300 come from ?
