Hey I was just wondering to see how many of you work for the airlines and what airport are you based at. Also if you want you can tell us what you actually do (pilot, grounds crew, etc..) Just something new that I came up with.
Ironminds, I know that exact feeling. Today I am in the US, then in 2 days in London, then Zagreb, then Amsterdam, then Moscow, then Hong Kong, Sydney, Okinawa, and the list goes on. I feel like I know British Airways as well as their staff.
Work in the Midwest Express Airlines mainteance hanger at MKE. The area I work in is the stock room (aircraft parts, tools, etc.) Before that I worked down at the Midwest Express ramp loading and offloading airplanes bagroom etc.
From 1994 till 1997 I worked for Delta Airlines in MKE on the ramp.
I do not really work for an airline, but I work as a check-in agent for a local ground handling company @STR. The company is owned 51% by Stuttgart Airport authority and 49% by Swissport. I got hired by Swissport, so I still feel for Swissport, Swissair, Swiss... Two years ago I started my university studies, so it's only a part-time job at the moment.
WOW i can see a lot of you work for an airline. That is very cool. I hope someday I will work for the airlines. I never know but I hope i will I would love to work for Midwest Airlines, or Continental.
