Pan Am Adds More Destinations....

Sat Jun 15, 2002 1:44 pm

June 28: Newark, Santiago
June 29: Punta Cana
TBA Soon: Santo Domingo

Looks like Pan Am has ended their "regional" service that they started with. And I would dare say that there is no hope in getting them in the Southeast outside of Florida (meaning, the GSO rumors fell through).

Along with that.... look at who they have dumped in the past 6 months....

Gary will be gone within a month.
Allentown is now gone.
Worcestor is now gone.
St Louis (I think taht was it)

Very interesting change in their tactics.

Old news. They also added Miami and Puerto Plata about two weeks ago, and are adding San Jose, Costa Rica soon too.

Sorry,

I did a search and didn't see the cities being talked about. My mistake.

Also they will fly from Newark and Portsmouth down to the Caribbean and from Miami to the region too. And I think they will fly from Dominican Republic and San Juan within the Caribbean and to Central America is that right? Will they add flights from Orlando/Sanford to the Caribbean too or just jus as it is now, to Freeport and San Juan?

SFB-MIA-SFB R/T $219, that's insane. I'm planning a trip on AA MCO-STL-DFW-MIA-MCO (763, M80, 777, ATR72), $240.

Well from MCO into MIA is usually almost 200 USD anyway.
