Excel Airways are now into their second year of operation and now operate a fleet of 11 aircraft (8 B737-800s and 3 B767-200s) from Gatwick, Manchester and Glasgow.

Has anyone any experience of them ? , are they in your view providing standards for other UK airline charter companies to match in terms of punctuality, quality and service as they have set out to?

Are they becoming a bit of a thorn in the side of the larger UK charter operators perhaps - or at least a company to look out for!?

Any viewpoints would be interesting

If you go to you'll see quite a few reports about XLA. I've not had the pleasure of flying with you yet, but it looks like Excel lives up to its name!
