As everybody knows LH as such as many Europeans Airlines have a totally saturation of flights to Mexico
LK, KL, IB, AF have a dairy frequency to Mexico
BA comes on mon, wed, fri.
And as Many Cargo Airlines like AFC CLX
South American Airlines like:
Avianca, Varig, TACA, etc… also comes dairy,
As we can see Mexico is still be a very important Tourist Place, (and in this month July the tourist increase)
Such as IB sends an A343 to Mexico (I don’t know his frequency)
In Lufthansa case I read before that on the year 2006 will send the new A346 to Mexico City in replace of his B744, and after on the year 2008 will started to send his A380 also to Mexico City, I really thing the change of LH will be a step forward, and make this the 1st European Airliner on Mexico.
Beside this IB will replace his B743 for an A343 and on high saturation will send 2 dairy flights to Mexico plus 2 AM dairy flights also MEX-MAD we are talking of 4 flights from MEX-MAD and 4 flights MAD-MEX.
And even this people still having trouble getting tickets to Europe, I talked to an AF pilot, weeks ago, and he said to me that Mexico City is one of his first demands. People must make reservations minimum three week before his flight, to get a passage.
If AM, gets his 2 B772 that is expecting for OCT. of this year, we are talking of 7 aircrafts fling to Europe 5 B762/3 2 B772.
On a magazine I read that if CINTRA sells AM and MX
MX would get some B767 from AM and AM will replace B767 for B772
So MX also will think to send B767 to Europe, personally I thing for MX that he will get new Airbus equipment such as A330 or A340 (more possibilities to A330 for MX)
Mexicana will get 12 A319 on the way he has for the moment 6 of them.
Also read that AM will get B737/8 to replace DC9 and MD80 (Because on 2005 equipments like DC9-15/30, MD80, B732 also OG, B721/2 will disappear) on exception Governments aircrafts.
I maintain my illusion that Mexican’s airlines will get wide body aircrafts, to expand his routes, also why not to ASIA????
That would be just
Best Regards!!! Eduardo Lepe.
