Strange Planes At EWR...HELP!

Sat Jun 29, 2002 7:08 am

Hey All.......

Drove past EWR today and saw 2 interesting planes that I had never seen before. Here is what I can tell you.....

1. Silver medium sized jet, tail had a red circle on it with something yellow in the center of it.

2. 747, Parked at B. The tail was dark blue or dark green and had some weird E on it with lines.

Any help would be appreciated!

By the way, when I go to the chat page, the screen stays grey and tells me that it is done loading. Whats the problem? I was able to access it before!

Okay.......number 2 I figured out....

It was Air Atlanta Icelandic (the 742 from Cathay Pacific with the green tail)

Why it was there, I dont know. I sent an email to AAI and hope to get a response soon.

Still trying to find number 1....cant figure it out!

The Air Atlantic planes was operating as a Virgin Atlantic flight to LHR. The VS 002 from EWR-LHR last night cancelled due to mx in LHR, and VS got a Air Atlanta flight to fly to EWR and pick up the stranded passengers.

Good friends that work for VS in EWR!!! The bad thing is that the passengers think is a VS flight, with VS flight attendants, and VS equipment. But when they get to the gate, they become very dissappointed that there is nothing Virgin about Air Atlanta!

Could the silver, medium sized jet have been ACA's Trans Canada Airbus??
