I certainly would. I am not planning on doing so because my family has no trips for the middle of September because there is school, but I wouldn't let it stop me from flying. For one, I don't think terrorists would try to do an "anniversary attack." There are several reasons for this I think. Frankly, a plane probably couldn't get hijacked anymore. There would be a lot of resistance from the passengers and crew. That is the biggest reason. The terrorists probably know what they would be going up against, so wouldn't think to try it. Some people might think that terrorists would like to hijack a plane again just to show that our security isn't that good (it's not) and that they can do it again, but what I said is MY opinion and nothing more than an opinion. You can have yours and I can have mine, but this is based upon my opinion. Back to the point. That first reason is enough to deter the terrorists I think, but there are more if that is not enough. On 9/11, I bet the security might be a little more watchful and sharp because of a fear of another attack, and because less people will be flying, they will have more time to do this. That might catch any would-be attacks. Those reasons all come down to the fact that I'm not afraid of a terrorist attack happening in the first place, (this is grim, I know) if one did, the chances of me being on that particular plane are slim, if I was on that plane, we would probably live because of the resistance getting control again, and if I actually did die, well then it was meant to happen.
