Codeshare Flights

Sun Jul 07, 2002 10:04 am

Can someone please post a list of all flights in the world that are codeshares?

I will start with Air Canada flight 822 which is also United flight 3092 from Chicago (ORD) to Toronto (YYZ).

That's a near impossible question as there are thousands and thousands of code share flights. Perhaps someone can list all the code share partnerships. I'll start off with two big alliances: Sky team, and Star Alliance.

The only problem is, the flight number in US domestic flight keeps changing. So it's impossible to keep up-to-date with those code-share flight.

Another problem is that sometimes airlines change the flight number on code-share flight for UNKNOWN reason.

Here's the codeshare flight number on NZ001 (LAX->AKL)

NZ001: AC9500/UA4351/LH9812/MX3800

Yes I will list all the flights in the world that are codeshares, if you can answer a couple of questions for me...

(1) Can you tell me all the routes that United Airlines uses their 757 fleet on, and also their Airbus fleet?

(2) I've also been hearing a lot about Air New Zealand launching AKL-HKG-LHR flights, can you give me start dates for those flights, and frequency, and what type of aircraft will be used. I think it will be a twice daily service, operated by a B747-400QXLER starting sometime in the next few days. Some people say there's no demand for this route, but last week I met someone who had a friend who's grandma flew that route 4 years ago, so I think there is a demand. Apparently the fare she paid was quite high, so yields are good too...

Thanks for your input!
