It's good to see another airliner being preserved at a museum, like the United 727 mentioned above. Where in VA is the museum being built? There's an aviation museum now in Hampton, isn't there? If I get to the area I'd love to have a look at the plane.
And yes, it should be painted in AirTran colors. As for "Delta being the better airline and all.." HA! Tell that to folks in Rochester, where Delta canceled service for two weeks on a few days notice in 2000. The airport had warned the airlines a year in advance about runway construction. Everyone else but Delta managed to schedule smaller planes for two weeks. Not Delta-they dumped thousands of unsuspecting pax onto the other airlines! "Delta-we love to screw medium-size markets and it shows."
