Abbotsford Airshow

Wed Jul 10, 2002 8:25 am

I'll be out at the Abbotsford Airshow this year and I'm wondering if it's worth it to buy the "runway seating" for an additional 10 dollars.

How has it been in previous years? Who else is going?

Been there twice, awhile back and last year. While I just bought tickets at the gate, the only real difference I saw between the special seating and the regular admission is that you receive a folding chair in a reserved section up front. I had great views from my lawnchair and was close to the runway so I would recommend against the 10 bucks since you can get equal seats if you arrive early and bring your own chair. I would be there this year again (since I live 20 minutes from the airport), yet alas I'm in Europe during the show. Enjoy the Snowbirds, Thunderbirds, and the many other preformers. It's trully a world-class airshow!
