New Zealand - Asia Routes Busy

Thu Jul 11, 2002 7:14 am

The New Zealand Herald reported today that airlines were doing particularly well on New Zealand - Asia routes as tourists steered clear of the United States after September 11.

Particularly, Cathay Pacific recorded record loads and Singapore Airlines also had record bookings, and apparently has added a second temporary flight out of Christchurch.

Anyone know if the flights are really that full? I know for a fact Cathay quite often is, what about the others?
