Taca To Transport Pope

Fri Jul 12, 2002 11:34 pm

According to the following press release Gruopo Taca will transport Pope John Paul II from Toronto to Guatemala City, and from Guatemala City to Mexico City, on his upcomming trip. Equipment used will be a A320. Other sources indicata that the crew will be Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador.

I thought that tradiationally the host country's airline takeshim to his next destination, does anybody know why Air Canada is not doing it? I bet its good publicity.
