Sikorsky Accident

Wed Jul 17, 2002 8:24 pm

I´ve been searching the forums for information on the terrible accident last night 40 kms N/E of Gt. Yarmouth, involving a Sikorsky S 76 with a crew of two and nine men headed for an oil rig (The Santa Fe Monarch) last night.
My search here on Airliners.net gave no result. The Bristow-operated chopper certainly belongs in the civil aviation category, which forces the question: Does an aircraft have to have wings to be of interest to members of this forum?

My condolences to those who lost their dear ones in this terrible accident.
