Wow, you have a lot of time....

Not all deadheading crew members must be in uniform, you know.

Seiple, he indeeds have a lot of time.

Hmm......he does look like a passenger more than a crew to me. Also I thought there were only 2 pilots in the cockpit needed, an engineer is not needed on a B772?

Best Regards

No engineers are required on the B777s but there can be more than 2 crew in the flightdeck for longhaul flights. If I'm not wrong, they have to be in the deck for take-off after then they could only go back to their bunks or seats for their rest.

Many people sitting in the jump seat are not pilots (but other employees) or are pilots riding out of uniform (not working the flight).

A 777 does not need a Flight Engineer. And if it did, the Flight Engineer's position would not be visible from the window. Not from that angle anyway.
Its better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air than be in the air wishing you were on the ground. Fly safe!
