JFK - Vienna

If flying JFK to Vienna on Austrian, what is the type of aircraft used these days? I'm hoping one of the new A340's but am not sure. Thanks.

I believe the only airline on the New York-Vienna route is Austrian Airlines, and they use brand new A330-200's on the route. Austrian is rated one of the best airlines across the Atlantic, but rarely is shown on 'Best" lists, due to its small size. I highly recommed Austrian for any routes to Eastern Europe.

The 332s are usually used, but 342s and 343s are frequetly substituted.
