Kenya Airways Orders RR On B777

Mon Jul 22, 2002 8:55 pm

Surprisingly Kenya Airways has ordered the Rolls-Royce Trent on its three new B777 aircraft, while 24% owner KLM has ordered GE on its B777's.

That's what I call independent decision making by partner organisations.

Not that surprising!

Kenya Airways had decided on RR Trent engines for the B767-400ERX before it was cancelled, since they've already chosen the RR Trent once, it's not so surprising that they did it again.

Always pleased when another airline chooses Rolls!
