That is not a 717...rather a DC-9.
Firings, if well done, are good for employee morale.

I think that is a 717. It's Boeing's new secret project for fleet commonality in AirTran. Boeing is now upgrading (err...downgrading) their newest 717 with DC-9 cockpits.  Big thumbs up

Hopefully Airtran aren't using 717 pilots for the DC9 and viceversa. The DC9 pilot sitting in the 717 would probably try to hook up his playstation to the displays.
