767-400ER Makes First Flight

Sun Oct 10, 1999 9:45 am

At 12:10 Pacific Time Boeings new 767-400ER took off from Boeing Field. The flight which was scheduled to last 5 hours started out without a hitch and ended perfectly. All systems performed perfectly and the replica of the 777 cockpit implimented into the 767-400ER worked perfectly. Engines performed better then expected and it should out perform the A-330 without a problem. Only time will tell if this infact will happen.
