seems pretty aggressive for Aer Lingus!! Makes a change. Geneva seems odd as Zurich only gets one flight a day from "Swiss" . EI only codeshares. Will this be a BAe 146 so? CSA have been doing super already to Prague. Don't know about Tyrolean to Vienna. Best of luck. Would be nice to see them back in scandinavia.

Aer Lingus has announced a loss of €140 000 000 / £62 000 000 / US$138 000 000.

We are not satisfied with mere survival. The survival plan was the beginning, not the end, of change at Aer Lingus. We are becoming more efficient, simplifying the business of getting people to their destinations," said CEO Willie Walsh.

Passenger numbers fell 4.6% to 6.6 million.

"Much more remains to be done to return the company to adequate levels of profitability," warned chairman Tom Mulcahy.
