From my experience traveling on the UA 747-400s domestically they are usually full in Economy, if not oversold. However First and Business class are another story. Those cabins on the majority of flights I have encountered or looked into have fairly wide open premium cabins. Now that 747-400 to Hawaii is a different story. Looks to go out at about full capacity in Economy and Business class with first class looking pretty good as well! I could bet that aircraft is making its money's worth! I know a few Airliners.net members will laugh when I say this, but I wish those 747-400s could be back in their rightful spot flying across the Pacific instead of these silly little 2 hour hops.
I wanted to say thanks for the nice comments stooge! First off, I don't consider myself a "fountain of knowledge". Unlike your pompous self, I do some research and clarification to answer questions that are factually correct. (Hint Hint, you may want to try this sometime). Until you step down from acting as the know all, high authority United Airlines representative here at Airliners.net, supplying the public with poor info, you deserve to be corrected!! Its a simple concept here! No need to get so pissy! Didn't mean to hurt you feelings. Scary to think if you screw things up and act this belligerent at UAL working out on the ramp as much as you do here at airliners.net... god help UNITED.
