United Airlines Fleet

I am wondering what united is going to do when the dc-10-30 is gone i fly that when i go from chicago to honolulu and i was wondering what they would replace that with? Also when will they but crew rest bunks on the 777?

Maybe that united will switch their flights from chighago to detroit (where I live).i think they shoudl use a dc-9 from Airtran cuz they are cheap to buy.

Also, to FLY777UA, they will probably use the 767-300 ETOPS, as they already use it to Kahului from SFO & LAX.

Are you flying flight 43 (ORD-HNL DC10-30) next spring break? Cause I am, too!

the ORD-HNL flight will probably be replaced by the 767-300. An effort might even be made to expand the First Class comfort level (on the 2-class aircraft).

As far as the crew bunks go, UA will be getting factory-fresh 777's equipped with the bunks (for both pilots and FA's) as soon as they come from Everett. The "older" (funny...refering to a 777 as being "older"!) 777's will be fitted with them when they are in "the shop" for enough time to be equipped.
