The African Star one is parked somewhere around Changi Airport(or it might have been scrapped). It was 9V-SKH I believe.

I know that a few were used for some time by both TAAG and South African. The South African birds are still used; not too sure about the Angolan ones.

There was 14 I believe so there is probably another 2 floating around somewhere.

Corsair has 5 now, so that the two missing in your list have found a home:

G-GSUN ("sun"-sticker)
F-GSEA ("waves"-sticker)
F-GSEX ("lips"-sticker)
F-HJAC
F-GSKY

Cameroon is operating an ex-SIA 747-312, reg.TJ-CAE, since about half a year now, mainly on flights to Paris.

The Cameroon one re-nicknamed "Big Top" to "BIG BOSS".

"BIG BOSS"? A reference to their dictator?  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

PS. Apologies to any a.net membets from Cameroon. I couldn't resist it.

Didn't UTA use to name their 743s "Big Boss" too? But I guess since UTA no longer exists, there no trademark infringements here. Talk about originality...

hi

Cameroon airlines re-introduced its ex SQ 743 on DLA-CDG for summer flights after a 767 iatus, and you can often see the TAAG 743 at CDG2 where it operates a codeshare flight with AF to Luanda (AF operating a 777)

I flew once on a corsair 743 : verifying the life jacket I noticed that they always wore the SQ marks

the cameroonians are very proud of the 743....so big boss probably because it's their ONE flagship but also probably refering to their always-the-same-president
