You mean, the smallest airline in term of the one with the lesser regular flights ?

Here in CMF, we've got Hex'Air : just one bi-daily CMF-ORY flight (so the 'fleet' is airborne less than 4 hours per day) with their one and only jet - an ERJ135.

Okay, they also have a King Air 90 and an Beech 1900for charter flights, but does that count ?

Oh, and sometimes if they don't have enough pax to fill the ERJ, they use one of the smaller planes  Wink/being sarcastic

Small airline indeed, but I've got to love them, otherwise I wouldn't have this bi-daily jet...

duh. Don't have the figures for Hex'Air, but they can't have more than 980 PAX per week. Which is actually not that bad if they achieve this figure. Which I doubt.

How many airlines around the world operate with just one little turboprop on perhaps one scheduled flight per week, the rest of the time the aircraft being used for flight training or charter work?
I'd say the number would be untold, so as for the world's smallest airline?
Probably impossible to say!

Air Burkina of Ouagadougu, Burkina Faso, I believe only has one Fokker F-28. That's in Africa, by the way.

As per the CRS's ON operates following intl flights out of Nauru:
BNE day 2/2
MEL day 2
NAN day 1/4
TRW day 1/4

There are no flights to PNI or MNL mentioned. I have been in PNI a few month ago and there was never a Air Nauru. Do you have more details about flights to MNL?

swissgabe, maybe theve since axed flights to Manila...I too was surprised to see the ON B734 several times in MNL, and when I looked at the departures board, it said the flight was going to Nauru via Phonophei...didnt think there would be any passenger traffic from MNL to Nauru...actually, MNL even has a sign board with an Air Nauru logo on it at the departure concourse area (as with all other airlines operating into MNL) to show ON pax where to load off their baggage...Ill be sure to check when I leave for Singapore on Friday.

There are inumerable one aircraft airlines flying in the world. There are even some one pilot airlines in the world, maybe even only one employee airlines! What would be interesting would be a list of national carriers with maybe only one or two aircraft.

NZ767 echoes my sentiments exactly. This thread will see MANY small airlines if you include torboprops and props. IE. Emu Air in Australia I used last summer. Small outfit that flies b/w 2-3 airports.

If you are looking for a spefific answer, you ay wantto clarify terms. Otherwise, get ready to hear about a LOT of small airlines!
