A380jet

Manila:
There are 9 weekly flights and 5 of them stop at 3 of them stop at BKI (Kota Kinabalu) and 2 of them in KCH (Kuching). Most of the flights are operated with a Boeing 737-400 and around 2 flights are operated with an Airbus A330 (one of them stops at KCH and the other is non-stop).

Cebu:
Two weekly flights on day 4 and 7, both via BKI with a 734.

I think load factors do pretty well on both, MNL and CEB. When I flew MNL-BKI three month ago the load-factors was only around 50%.

MAS doesn't fly to Canada at the moment but if I'm not mistaken, they flew to Vancouver a few years ago. In North America only EWR is served 3 times a week.

Hope this helps...

They once flew KUL-TPE-YVR but without fifth freedom rights on TPE-YVR. They couldn't turn a profit on the route so they gave it up.

MAS is eyeing flights into Canada again after a 4 year lapse. They suspended their services into Vancouver in 1998 due to the economy crisis as well as the lack of fifth freedom traffic rights at Taipei.

Swissgabe: You forgot that MAS also flies daily from LAX into KUL via TPE. I think that's where most of MAS passengers in the North America comes from, with the exception of the Eastern Seaboard, where they go via EWR.

Load factors should be pretty good cause PR is code sharing with MAS to BKI and KCH from MNL and CBU.

I heard that Philippine Airlines is reinstating its own flights into Kuala Lumpur soon. Would be great to see them again - they remain the only ASEAN nation without an airline presence at KUL (bar the current code-share).
