Airbus A320 Production Development (-100, -200)

Wed Aug 14, 2002 6:32 am

Besides the lack of winglets, what are the differences between the A320-100 and A320-200 series? The question also could be phrased as What other changes were made to the -200 following the -100 series?

Also, what differences (if any) would an A320 built in the late 1980's have over a machine of the same series built this decade?

-100 was the original, obviously, and i believe only BA and AF operate them [BA has 5 and AF has some number of them]
I believe the -200 has a higher TO weight and gross weights etc etc, and it has extra fuel tankage over the -100.

Thats as much as i know.

Hope that helps, a little  Smile/happy/getting dizzy
