GVA: Is UAE Government Fleet Complete?

Thu Aug 15, 2002 2:22 am

Wednesday 14 August at Geneva Airport:

UAE Government fleet parked on apron:
- 1x B747-400
- 1x B767-300
- 1x A300-600
- 1x B737-BBJ

Who can tell me whether this is the entire UAE Government fleet, or should GVA expect some more??

You forgot 1x B757 (hospital for the king), some L15, and some MD90. All these planes took off on August 14 from Geneva.

Dens, you are thinking of the Saudia Royal fleet. The UAE is a different place.

The UAE Government have:

5 BBJs
1 BBJ2
1 A319CJ
1 A300-600
1 Gulfstream 4
3 747sp
1 767-300
1 747-400

These all belong to the UAE government in some way. Some are based in different places and are operated by different parts of the government, but all are UAE aircraft. Isn't it nice to be rich!!

They have four BBJ's , A6-DAS, AIN, LIW and SIR. Did not see a picture of A6-DAS on airliners.net

B747-400 A6-YAS
A300 A6-SHZ
B767 A6-SUL

I wish I hadn't read this thread. I'm so depressed now.

 Laugh out loud
I'm not a real aeronautical engineer, I just play one on Airliners.net.

The Amir of Abu Dhabi is in Geneva.

His B767-300 and B737-700 BBJ departed today....................His wife and daughter must have gone shopping.
