Hello,

I did a srearch, but did not find anything. After 9/11 what happened to all the silverware that the airlines used?

Probably been moved to other duties like company restaurants, or just sold for scrap metal.

With the exception of the flights to US and UK LOT is still using the silverware so they didn't have to throw away anything.

Sitting somewhere in the back room at airline catering departments everywhere. Some of it finds its way into ramp breakrooms (so we can eat our lunch!).

There are many airlines still using their silverware and a few of them just replaced the knifes with a plastic one ...
