Something that I never thought about until recently occured about 2 years ago on aflight from LAX > HNL (and return) onboard a UA 757.
Whilst checking in at LAX - we requested emergency exit seats - which we were give on the right hand side of the plane. The seats where actually blocking the emergency exit on that side (2nd door, first row of economy, immediately behind the F class - directly opposite the exit used for boarding).
The question is - why do UA (dont know if anyone else does it - never seen it on any other 757 before) have seats blocking the emergency exit? I would of thought there would be regulations against it?
Anyone know why?
