If flying Delta from JFK to Moscow, what type of aircraft will used? Also, how does the route differ from flying into central or western Europe? Thanks.

Delta uses a 767-300 on that route. I don't imagine the flight will differ much from any going to Central or Western Europe, except that you may fly closer to the North Pole. I took Aeroflot on the ORD-SVO route this summer; they also use a 767-300, and flew pretty much over Greenland coming and going. The flight also took us directly over Finland, and once into Russian airspace, over St. Petersburg, my ultimate destination. You may fly the same route.
