Thanks for the compliments on HA JayDavis! It's always nice to hear when we do something right.
B764, I think most of your questions have been answered, although I can tell you the DC-10 is still used on most of the LAX-HNL flights, and also the ONT-HNL, PDX-HNL, and starting later this month, some of the SFO-HNL flights too. The 763 is used on all the Maui trips (from LAX, SFO, and SEA), the SMF-HNL, some of the SFO-HNL, and SAN-HNL also. As we get more planes (providing Boeing doesn't strike) they'll be replacing more and more of the DC-10's. Unless you really like LOOOOOONGGGG flights, I'd suggest going to LAX, and transferring to one of our flights. It doesn't have to be overnight, but the break will make the trip a little less stressful. And the layover in LA will give you a chance to stretch your legs, then enjoy our service to the islands.
To JayDavis - when did you fly OGG-SEA? I've flown that flight several times in the last few months, and I might have been your FO.
One smooth landing is skill. Two in a row is luck. Three in a row and someone is lying.
