> I am affraid it has to do a lot with personality...
However, it remains so that the original SNBA livery (and especially the name) was received with lots of criticism in the media (and also on A.net).
> I still know sources that I thrust more than this one
I barely watch VTM myself, however one of their journalists cooperated in writing this recent (and excellent) book "The Crash of Sabena".
> SN Brussels Airlines will soon change their looks
So if logo, color and concept of the SNBA corporate design will be modified, then what will finally remain of the earlier design proposed by the reputed brand design buro "Minale Design Stragegy". I assume SNBA paid a nice fee for this. Do these marketing buro's provide some kind of guarantee to their clients, like "if the new concept doesn't work, then we pay you back!". Probably not.
> they want that the 'SN' dissapears in the future
I believe that president Kuijpers had mentioned this one time in an interview early February, however later on an SNBA spokesman had confirmed that the SN would remain in the corporate name.
> only shows that they didn't do their jobs well 6 months ago
That seems at least to have been the reason why BA changed their world images livery again after just a few years.
> Or did the price of yellow paint go ballistic all of a sudden?
Maybe they were painting this yellow/orange line with pure gold.
