Mandarin Service To Hong Kong?

Tue Sep 03, 2002 7:02 pm

Mandarin have been flying into Hong Kong for a month or so now but there still does not seem to be a clear schedule.

For example they dont have a flight today (Tuesday) and they don't seem to fly in on Friday or Saturday.

Bigo747, do you have any update info ?. I rememer you got some they will go double daily from August 24th, well now its not even daily and its SEP 3rd.

I also noticed if you check the CI site it no longer mentions the AE flights. For anyone that cares only one aircraft has operated this route, B-16805.

According to AE's website, they will fly (from 7SEP) a daily service KHH-HKG with an Airbus A300-600R (presumeably owned by CI) plus a weekly B737-800 flight on Fridays.

hope this helps

OK, so which A300 will get the AE colours ?. I remember before B-1806 was delivered, that was going to be in AE colours (never was). Shame the idiots went and crashed this aircraft.

Mandarin currently flying 2x weekly 738 to HKG. on Day 1 and 7, plus additional flight on Day 5.

From September 7, it'll be A300-600R daily, Extra Friday flight with 738.

I think this is because they leased out 1 738 to Cambodia's President Airlines, and they're having difficulties for fleet assignment.

B1806 has re-registered as B1857X, I think.

Their schedule is a mess !. As for B-1806, I already said it CRASHED, it never had chance to get re-registered.

CI didn't crash B1806.

The 2 CI A300 that crashed in 1990s was B1814 and B1816.

Very sorry, Yes you are correct. B-1806 became B-18551.

The part about it going to AE was true  Smile/happy/getting dizzy, and for all we know may still happen.

Just for your info the AE 738 going to President airlines was seen in Taipei at the weekend with TINY titles. Its in full AE colours and titles with the microscopic President Airlines titles.
