Are Carry-on Security Rules Same In Europe?

Sun Sep 08, 2002 11:24 pm

Question: If my items in carry-on make it thru TSA rules in Boston, will they also in Keflavik and Arlanda? Items like nail clippers, etc...

Does anybody have an recent experience with this or job knowledge of it? Thanks!

hi
general rule in europe is every sharp-metal object should be kept in checked baggage : that includes nail clippers and even disposable hand razors

J_hallgren: nail clippers and other sharp items in checked baggage only, like Treg wrote.
