Ozark FH-227B Crash 7/23/73 STL

Tue Sep 10, 2002 11:00 pm

Aviation buff/STL ramp agent for Trans States Airlines (aka American Connection) curiously researching and desperately seeking crash photos of an Ozark FH-227B, #N4215, flight #809, here in STL 7/23/73 during heavy thunderstorm on edge of University of Missouri St. Louis campus......happened when I was a teenager and the only fatal air crash in STL that I can remember. Already have microfiche copy of newspaper article and recently took current photos of crash site on campus. Any help would be appreciated.

Someday, we'll look back at this, laugh nervously, and then change the subject.
