To All Airline Employees On 9/11

Wed Sep 11, 2002 2:54 pm

With 9/11 here, I know that your lives will be filled with many trials. Some of you lost friends. Some lost loved ones. Please know that your family here at airliners.net are thinking about you. It will not be an easy day for any of us. And as the day progresses, each flight that takes off will respresent your dedication to freedom. With peace and with hope, always. Zach

this is indeed a time for all of us to remember the sad day one year ago, let us also remember the heros and friends who helped us when OUR planes littered canada, and gander, and elsewhere.

what wonderful people, total strangers never turning there backs on us. we do have great friends to the north. to all the UA,AA employees, we care.

UA,AA

Thank you for your condolences, although I did not loose a loved one that horrible day, I feel much pain from my fellow airline employees around the country. Our jobs have changed, our freedom has changed. Keep them birds flying all my fellow airline employees...

I today have a thought for my American colleagues who lost thier lives a year ago... trying to defend their passengers and their lives.
May God bless them forever.

With saddness.

To all at American Airlines and United Airlines, our greatest sympathy and to all in the airline industry, let our love of the sky unite us.

On behalf of all of us at British Airways we salute, embrace and respect you.

As I walked in to work today, my eyes welled up with tears. They were happy tears, because I saw people here in the airport getting on our planes. Lots of people. Not as many as yesterday or probably tomorrow, but a lot. I remember the exact moment of walking in to work on this day last year and not seeing a soul in this entire international airport. That scared me. I think that scared every airline employee. We are here because of these customers and we wont last long without them.

These people getting on our planes today are the bravest and most loyal passengers we have ever known. Despite the horror and chaos that occured one year ago today, onboard two of our planes and two of American's planes, these passengers are continuing with their normal lives and getting on with their business.

Thank you to everyone!

John
