Northwest DC10-40 Retirement

Fri Sep 13, 2002 2:18 pm

Maybe we have some insiders on the board here...there are only like 3 or 4 -40s left. Do you know when they are due to retire? How about one in particular: N133JC?

SHAME ON YOU! If you had looked at those threads you would've seen that they were all archived. The 'newest' thread is almost three weeks old! So pphhtthh on you for jumping down Bruce's throat!

Anyway, I've been looking for updates on the status of the DC10-40 fleet myself. As for those on the insides at Northwest: Is there anyway to get one one of these birds before they say their final bye-bye??

Archived or not, you can still get the information out of them.

I'm quite sure that AKelley728 was only being a little sarcastic...
I'm quite surprised myself to learn that three weeks have now gone by without a new thread on NW DC10 retirement, or those rusty old niners for that matter...!!

Immigration officer: "What's the purpose of your visit to the USA?" Spotter: "Shooting airliners with my Canon!"
