Emirates-First Arab Airline To 'mainland' China

EK become the first Arab airlne to fly to "mainland" China with the launch of their weekly 747 cargo service to Shanghai on Sunday, passenger services will follow next year.

Whats about Egypt Air, didn't they fly to PEK?

Sorry to burst your bubble, but the "Arab" honour does indeed go to Iraqi Airways. And although not an Arab nation, Iran Air also gets credit for their THR-NRT-PEK flights.
I would also agree that Emirates is Arab in name only... "British Airways based in Dubai" comes to mind...
