I am dissapointed, because LAB's A310 service is the last A310 service at MIA. None the less, LAB needs the extra capacity. Between the US and Bolivia there are only two daily flights, and they go out full daily.

Range and payload seems to be a factor, I recall reading an article in AIRWAYS to that effect due to the high elevation at La Paz.
Next up: STL-CVG-MKE-MSP-STL.

They will be quite useful. Maybe with the 767 they could stop making technical stops at PTY.

The A310 does not need to make technical stops, only the 727-200 does.

Although, at least in the case of MIA, getting the very lucrative 5th freedom rights on MIA-PTY was very recent, which is why they are now flying to MIA via PTY 3x a week, with the rest of the services non-stop on A310s.

Hi all, LAB will continue to fly its A310. The new routes for the A310-300 will be to Mexico City and Cancun. The new Boeing 767-300ER will operate on the Miami-Santa Cruz-Buenos Aires route.
