The NTSB report about the AWA Airbus whose nosegear collapsed has been released. The gist is that 1 thrust reverser has been deactivated 8 days prior, but that the pilot activated the one reverser on landing, causing the plane to swerve off of the runway. The nosewheel snapped off at a taxiway.
My question: How on earth could this happen?? Did the pilot not know??
