Weird L10-11

Fri Sep 20, 2002 8:16 am

I saw an L1011 parked at London Internation Airport (Ontario, YXU). The windows were all covered up, making me think it could be used for cargo? It had no name on it that I could see (I was just driving by) but the tail feature a logo of a spade as seen on playing cards.

Anyone know what this is?? What airliner has a logo like that?

Are you sure it wasn't a 727? The black spade on the tail is the logo for ACE - All Canada Express Cargo. I believe they only operate 727s.

How do you confuse an L10-11 with a 727 ???
