When Will QF's B 747-200s Leave The Fleet?

Mon Sep 23, 2002 5:23 pm

As checked, the B 747-200 is still on the schedule for March 2003 on Qantas's website.

When will QF's B 747-200s leave the fleet? I thought they will be gone by November 2002. How come it is still on the schedule for SYD-AKL for March 2003?

Sorry to recall this topic again. But indeed, the B 747-200 is still on the schedule for March/April 2003 for a few routes.

Also, I saw a few at SYD a week ago

Any idea? When will they leave the fleet? Perhaps they will for sometime?

Well long after they are gone I'll remember my trip on VH-EBS `City of Broken Hill' from Brisbane to Cairns.

Cockpit landing during a training flight, 5 of us in the cockpit doing a landing over the Great Barrier Reef on a crystal clear day. What more could you ask for ??
