Looks like FedEx is flying in 2 daily A300-600's to and from Memphis from New Orleans. They have an early morning departure from MSY and a late evening departure. And of course, they still have a 727 service to Shreveport. Always good to see wide bodies in New Orleans, even if they are freighters. As for other freighter service, UPS brings in 2 daily 757's, Airborne Express brings in 2 daily DC9-30's, Emery brings in a 727-200, and the USPS operates a 727-200 service. Not too much compared to MIA or IAH, but we'll get there one day.
On the airline front, in October, we'll see the addition of a 3rd daily MSP nonstop via NWA, and the inaguration of American's LGA nonstop with an MD-80. Hope to hear an announcement regarding new or expanded WN service shortly. And I have a bone to pick with ATA....yall picked CLT over MSY....that's realllll poor. lol
