Hey everyone I am trying a new idea on a VA, that everyone in this forum gets to create!! Heres how it works: You guys will email me on what city it should be based in, what aircraft, and the name. Then whichever city gets the most votes, will be the hub, whatever aircraft gets the most votes will be whatever aircraft we fly, and i will post the top 5 names on the forum and whatever name wins, will be the name of the airline!!!!---cool, huh?--Its all up to you guys! Email your suggestions to Thanks!!!!

Int'L Cities: London Gatwick, Heathrow, Charles DeGaulle, Orly, Lisbon, Madeira, Madrid, Berlin, Keflavik, Prague, Stockholm Arlanda, Oslo, Moscow, Mecca, Bahrain, Beijing, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Nagoya, Haneda, Singappore, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, Bombay, Thailand, Mexico City, and Malaysia.

Airbus A-310-300 (22)
Airbus A-320 (34) *Four-Wheel Bogie config*
Airbus A-330-200 (15)
Airbus A-340-600 (6)
Boeing 727-200 (5)
Boeing 747-200 (16)
Boeing 747-400 (34)
Boeing 747-500X (10)
Boeing 747-600X (10)
Boeing 757-200 (84)
Boeing 757-300 (40)
Boeing 767-300 ER (20)
Boeing 777-200 IGW (12)
Boeing HSCT-2747-100* (22)
McDonnell Douglas MD-88 (40)
McDonnell Douglas MD-90 (55)

*I made this designation up. The SST proposal back in the 60's was called 2707. I decided with 2747 to make it sound new. It is basically based on the HSCT designs currently being worked on by NASA. It is designed for a cruise of Mach 2.7, with a capacity of 350 passengers, at 64,000 feet, for a range of 6,500 NM.

I have specs if you wish.

COLORS: Aircraft colors are Red and Gold.

All in favor say 'aye', all oppose say 'nay'.

What a great idea!

Serve Maccas as the in-flight meal.

P.S. Does anyone other than the Australians call McDonalds 'Maccas'?? Or is it just the great Aussie slang??

No, I was actually thinking of a livery similar to the "World Airways" livery back in the late 70's.

Sorry 'bout that... I couldn't resist making a little joke. Those happen to be the same colors of my high school's big football rival so I've heard them all.

I think that sounds like a good airline, but I could think of a few small things to change. I htink it should fly to more domestic locations and fly to lonodn heathrow and not to gatwick. It should also have more of a standarized (spelling ?) fleet. It should go all boeing or all airbus. you seem to have put that it flies more boeings then airbuses, so the a330 and a340 should be made into 767s and 777s. Otherwise it was a good idea.

I have a route that leads into Heathrow as well as Gatwick. If you've ever been to Gatwick, it is an awesome airport. It looks like a large mall and an airport rolled into one. Heathrow has more runways (doesn't gatwick only have one?) anyway, so I take it more routes will be operating out of Heathrow.
