Great Sidewind Landing At KaiTak

Sun Sep 29, 2002 6:14 am

I probably mispelled that. Anywho, someone Emailed me recently with the follwoing website: http://www.stupidvideos.com/, and it has some interesting airplane videos. I can't vouch for the general content of the site, but if you go to the top where it says "browse videos" and list them alphabetically, and then click on "Nice Landing 2", you'll get an interesting look at a Korean 747-400 coming in at a huge angle.

Site also shows some other familiar airplane vids.

Well, #382 is kinda silly. The 'fireworks' are actually flares, that are normally used to try and trick air-to-air missiles

I've actually seen that video before and yes, it was a nice landing!!!
Its better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air than be in the air wishing you were on the ground. Fly safe!

Very nice landing, excellent airmanship! I understand well a new airport was necessary for Hong Kong. Smile
