A319 Etops

Can the A319 be certified for 120min ETOPS?

I am pretty sure it can (wouldn't the A319CJ have to be?). I was told on here that the A320 is certified, and is flown across the Atlantic to Florida (by a Danish company), so I would have expected the A319 to have already have been certified.

I think it can be. Air Canada, I think flies them from Halifax to London. Don't know if this would require ETOPS but I would imagine that it would

Air Canada uses 767's on its YHZ-LHR route. They were rumoured to be considering using A320's some time ago, but never did actually operate them on overseas routes.
