I once drove from JFK to LGA, via the Van Wick Expressway on a Saturday morning, parking lot to parking lot in only 20 minutes.

If you look over here at Europe, London Heathrow, Paris Charles de Gaulle, Frankfurt-Main, Amsterdam Schiphol and Brussels-National are almost packed together.

ICN and GMP are a bit further apart from each other than 2 miles. But it's very near anyway, take about 20 miles.

Well, Kuala Lumpur Subang and Sepang are not that fare away but MAS just moved ALL flights from SZB to KUL. Only a few domestic airliens operate out of SZB ...

Distances between close major airports in Latin America:

eze-aep 63 km
sdu-gig 9 km
cgh-gru 13 km
mty-ntr 30km

All of them have over 2M pax per year (all except NTR, but I had to include it... it is my homebase city)

Don't forget LGA-HPN = 20 miles
Its better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air than be in the air wishing you were on the ground. Fly safe!

Counting Airports that serve one city is pointless, rather look at different cities' airports:

CGN (50°52'N 07°08'E) DUS (51°17'N 06°46'E) 28 nm
DUS (51°17'N 06°46'E) MGL (51°08'N 06°18'E) 19 nm
DUS (51°17'N 06°46'E) DTM (51°31'N 07°37'E) 34 nm
DTM (51°31'N 07°37'E) PAD (51°22'N 08°22'E) 29 nm
PAD (51°22'N 08°22'E) FMO (52°08'N 07°41'E) 52 nm
FMO (52°08'N 07°41'E) HAJ (52°17'N 09°25'E) 64 nm
HAJ (52°17'N 09°25'E) BRE (53°02'N 08°28'E) 56 nm
DUS (51°17'N 06°46'E) MST (50°33'N 05°28'E) 65 nm
