I'm surprised to see that Emirates, who are considered world class leaders in airline service, have their 777s configured to ten abreast in economy. Having suffered the ordeal of flying in a 777 operated by BA under their agreement with AML in a ten abreast configuration I cannot imagine why Emirates would want to subject their passengers to such a squeeze. Do they operate with narrow aisles? I suspect not as this would affect trolley size etc.
Has anyone flown on this type and have similar thoughts? BTW does anyone know if BA has finally got rid of those three "sardine-can" 777s as they promised to do this summer?
