Isn't this just the coolest airline! Here's your chance to say whatever you want about JetBlue.

I would just like to say how much I love JetBlue.

When I first rode to Florida on board this amazing airline, I knew from the time I entered JFK's Terminal 6 that the experience would be out of this world. As our A320 pulled up to the gate, for the first time ever before a flight, I truly felt like jumping up and down. On board the aircraft, I was amazed at the truly innovative entertainment system, classy interior, and friendly service. The flight attendants want to have a conversation with passengers, and for the most part, the passengers want to have conversations with them.

Anyone who has ever compared JetBlue to SWA needs to fly them to see the difference. JetBlue is worlds apart from major airlines and worlds apart from other low fare carriers. In short, they are their own category of airline, one that cannot be described in words.

In the photo below, is that beer?  Wow!
The bottle appears to be blue... what beer comes in blue bottles?

There's lots to love about jetBlue. My main reason is more about what they don't do than what they do; namely (in sharp contrast to the hapless "full-service" majors) they don't promise what they cannot consistently deliver and, above all, they don't play a convoluted plethora of marketing and pricing games.

I agree with Everybody in the posts before this one. All of you people have clear heads and know that jetBlue is GREAT. Everybody I have met from jetBlue is SO NICE. Last Christmas, David Neeleman and Al Spain even sent me a Christmas Card. a month before that, D.G.N sent me his Desk Card saying "Thanks for your interest in jetBlue" along with an autographed picture." I would like to see any other airlines do that. I tried NWA, and they said they couldn't because they get too many requests for personal items. What? and jetBlue doesn't.

I LOVE jetBlue!!!!!!

I've never flown JetBlue (probably because they don't serve Chicago) but would love to! Almost every trip report I've read here have been positive ones.
Its better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air than be in the air wishing you were on the ground. Fly safe!

I was just thinking about this today, I have not met someone who does not like JetBlue. Personally I'd like to travel them but we're an AA family and where JetBlue goes, we'll either take AA or drive.

I'll be taking B6 JFK-LGB later this month, and I'm really looking forward to it. My only prior experience with them was a short JFK-BUF trip in the summer of 2000, when they'd only been around a few months. I was impressed then and expect things'll be the same on the upcoming trip.
By the way, the current issue of Forbes has a feature article on B6. It's generally a favorable article, with a lot of attention to David Neeleman's business acumen, though there's a cautionary note about the dangers of too-fast expansion. Fortunately, it looks as if B6 is being fairly conservative when it comes to expansion.

My first flight is next Friday. I'm going from OAK-LGB. I expect them to become my main choice when I fly to LA (about once a year). I checked them out for my flight to Providence at Christmas, but it didn't work out. JFK is too far away, and they had too high a cost. I couldn't pass up a $198 deal on Delta (my first flight on Delta).
Hey, I'm excited about it. I get to fly the coolest airline in a week. Christmas Day I knock off another airline, and another airport (ATL), and another state (GA).
On Jet Blue I just get to knock off another airline.

I'm another lover of Jet Blue. i just can't really say anything negative about the airline. The prices are great and the service is awesome. If they are going my way I'll always fly them.

Just another thing to add to my immense list of reasons to love them:

The only time that I have actually witnessed an aviation conversation in my school was when a bunch of people were raving about JetBlue. When I wore my JetBlue shirt around town one day, TONS of people asked me where I got the shirt and said how much they loved that airline.

I don't...

As far a PR goes, jetBlue is perfect. They really got all the bases covered.

The problem with them is not something the average person would see. First off, they don't really treat their employees as good as everyone thinks. If you don't work at JFK (or soon to be LGB) you don't have a chance at full time. Getting another job isn't as easy as it sounds, cause the hours suck. You work like a madman, and unless you want to go to in-flight (which most of the gate agents do...They have a high turn around) you really have no chance at promotion.

Also, IMHO the hiring process there is flawed. My interview was a joke, we just sat around and talked about nothing that had anything to do with the job. They have hired a large number of people who really have no clue what they are doing. I've seen people almost get themselves killed, I've seen blatant disregard for polices, and a lot more. The problem is, there is no discipline. Everyone in HR is so lovey-dovey there, they let people get away with murder. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for good employee relations, but there comes a time where you have to crack the whip. Much like a child who isn't disciplined by his parents, things get out of control.

There too much "its not what you know, its who you know". People getting hired cause they are "friends or family". If these people were competent, I wouldn't have a problem with it, but more times then not, they aren't. I've seen too many highly skilled people with airline experience not even get an interview.

I also believe they have a real problem with middle management, a case of "too many chiefs and not enough Indians"

Anyway, just the opinion of someone who was on the inside...

Yep, another satisfied customer here.

Flew JB last year, SEA-JFK and was VERY impressed. I really like their website, and the A320 is a great a/c. Seats and LiveTV are wonderful!

I would recommend them!

Only thing is their Terminal at JFK was a dump, from what I can remember. Still, it didn't bother me that much.

I'm also a True(Blue) jetBlue lover, after I had the honor to fly them on two roundtrips LGB-OAK-LGB in September. They were even better than I expected, if you are interested in two trip reports, just go to the trip report forum and search for 'Udo' (author). Many things which are praised here are mentioned in the reports.

Fly jetBlue!

I've only flown them twice in their first year of service..so there was limited schedules and no frequent flyer progam. I would choose AA, DL, CO, AA, US, or TW before I would choose them.

It appears they are expanding quite successfully and will introduce a ff program shortly (if not already).

As a businessman, the one thing that is sorely missing is a front cabin. There are times when you really do have to work. Impossible in a coach environment.

Glad to hear of their continued success. Hopefully, they will not expand too quickly.

JetyBlue's ugly midsize Airbus fleet has made JFK spotting less fun than it used to be.
