TriStar At Changi

Fri Oct 04, 2002 3:46 pm

One of the former BA TriStar 500s now operated by the British RAF is at Changi airport in Singapore today. Anyone know why it's there?

Cannot answer you , but there was one there last week as well. When we departed, it was behind us, and I noticed a lot of military traffic around that day. Mostly USAF. Something's up!!

When I saw it, it departed to the north, then got vectors to the North East, so not sure where it was going.

Well, I saw that RAF Tristar back in 2000 at 20R of Changi.. not sure what it was doing perhaps the same reason? Still remains the only Tristar I've encountered.
