Well, I suppose, without Swissair, ZRH is only another regional hub like MXP or GVA. Many connections to ZRH are more than saturated, just as for example ZRH-Englans, or ZRH-Germany. Add to that, that SWISS surely took the most profitable routes out of ZRH.
GVA was different. When SR decided to drop their operations drastically, they left a wide open market for others, as for example AF, or now also Easyjet.
ZRH was a bit of a bubble, whic bursted with the SR grounding.
